Preface
To understand how to use the Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years (Three Languages Calendar of 100 Years) regarding the past and future auspicious days for personal and business activities. I have reviewed many Chinese Almanacs and Thai lunar calendars that have been used for many thousand years. First, I began writing the Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years in 2018 by comparing Thai and Chinese timings. Next, I analyzed how these calendars used the auspicious days for significant personal and business events by Chinese and Thai people for several years. After that, I combined these books as a Hmong and English new versions. In this version, I included the details of the Gregorian and lunar calendars for users while selecting the auspicious days for personal and business activities.
To use this calendar accurately, I researched many valuable books and resources from various Feng Shui websites. My research is to specialize in how they use the lunar calendar to find auspicious days, favorable directions, Kua numbers or life stars, etc., for personal purposes. I researched the context of a Heavenly Stem, representing the quality of elemental force, and an Earth Branch, describing the quality of territory force. I found that there are ten Heavenly Stems 天干 (Tiāngān). Each Stem combines one of the five classical Chinese elements with either positive (yang) or negative (yin) energy. These energies then manifest through the twelve Earthly Branches 地支 (Dizhi) (corresponding to the signs of the Chinese Zodiacs). Therefore, as the date selection method, I combined ten Heavenly Stems and twelve Earthly Branches into 60 sexagenary cycles.
In the 28 Constellations of date selection method, my research based on Chinese Astrology adopted the 28 constellations of date selection from India following the introduction of Buddhism to China around the 1st and 2nd centuries. The 28 constellations are the most widely used system for date selection in Chinese culture and Astrology, found in the Tongzhu or Chinese Farmer's Calendar. Most Feng Shui practitioners apply this method to select an auspicious day for Feng Shui activities.
In the 12-Day Officers method of date selection, I researched a study based on the yearly Chinese flying stars. I established that the 12-Day Officers method is a subset of a more comprehensive Chinese metaphysical concept known as the 黄道吉日 (Huangdao Iiri). It was well-known that the 12-Day Officers method is one of the most favorable for selecting auspicious days to undertake activities. Each star determines what day would be most suitable or avoid certain activities.
In this book, I created new calendar tables for each month. These tables included the details of each month's cycle period, 60 sexagenary cycles, 28 Constellations, and 12-Day Officers, yearly zodiac signs, elements, the life star of a 20-year cycle, and the life star of a 9-star cycle for each year that starts from 1950-2050. The 28 Constellations and 12-Day Officers, including 60 sexagenary periods, can tell what auspicious days can suggest or not to do the event for each day. Each day begins with a different quality of nature's intelligence, such as prosperity, peace, fortune, leadership, etc.

Introduction
The lunar calendar 農曆 (Nónglì) has become the source of many religions, myths, and legends for many centuries. The lunar calendar is a calendar based on the monthly cycles of the moon's phases 月相 (Yuèxiàng). In contrast, a Gregorian calendar is a cycle based on the solar calendar system of a year cycle. The Gregorian calendar 公历 (Gōnglì) is the most commonly used calendar that initially evolved out of a lunar calendar system. Many people all over the world rely on two calendar systems for events. People use the solar system to determine the date and the lunar system to identify when festivals occur. Each turning position of the moon phase means many different things. It plays a significant role in the effectiveness of ritual activities (Ben-Dov, Horowitz, & Steele, 2012).
The Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years (Three Languages Calendar of 100 Years) method included years, months, and days that were a system of uniting the Heavenly Stems and early branches. I combined one of the 10 Heavenly Stems 天干 (Tiāngān) with one of the 12 Earthly Branches 地支(Dizhi ) to form 60 unique pairs in a complete cycle. The years are organized into 60-year calendar cycles, five times the 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle. Similarly, the months and days are similar, five times the 12 zodiac animals' cycle. The zodiac system has existed in Chinese culture since the Qin Dynasty, more than 2,000 years ago. Over time the zodiac system became more integrated into everyday life, with different meanings and characteristics assigned to each animal for users to find auspicious days.
In the Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years, I included solar and lunar calendar systems that people can easily use to choose an auspicious day for personal and business activities. Selecting an auspicious day is based on the lunar and Gregorian calendars. The Gregorian calendar shows the date, and the lunar calendar indicates what date is an auspicious day. An auspicious day is a good day, mainly when good things are likely to happen. It is usually said about a day that opens up a new future or might open up a new future. People can use the Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years by using their birthday to find auspicious days. Especially for their marriage, wedding, engagement, grand opening, business official opening, signing contracts, residential relocation, ground-breaking, church ritual, temple ceremony, funeral, burial, tomb removal, tomb repair, significant surgery, traveling, door adjustment or replacement, bed adjustment, bathroom repair, kitchen repair, and other activities. People would like to look for an auspicious day for traditional cultural, religious, or psychological reasons.
To provide users with guidance and detail on how the Perpetual Calendar of 100 Years can be reviewed for past events and used efficiently for future events. I have formed lunar and Gregorian systems together, making it convenient for people to find precisely auspicious days, months, and years. In the three languages calendar, I have created the structure tables and figures that make it easy for users to use effectively and efficiently. Users will find a full range of this calendar information regarding appropriate resources and auspicious days. I also included many favorable resources, such as twenty-eight stars, twelve stars, and monthly auspicious days for personal use to do events and commercial activities.

Yin and Yang Structure
Taichi
Twicken (2011) is basically retracing the classic Taoist creation story: the undifferentiated 无极— Wuji — exists before the Great Ultimate (Taiji太极), and from Taiji the two complementary forces Yin and Yang emerge. Those forces then interact to produce the four phases (Old/Greater Yang, Young/Lesser Yang, Young/Lesser Yin, Old/Greater Yin), which further combine into the eight powers (the Bagua). The interplay of Yin and Yang gives rise to the Five Elements (Wu Qi)—water, fire, wood, metal, and earth—and when those five are in harmonious flow, they drive the cycle of the four seasons (Lin 2021).
Chiv keeb Yeeb Yaj yog los ntawm 无极 (Wuji) (hmoov pob zeb nyob ncig lub plawv yis ntuj) ces tom qab ntawv mam li xeeb mus ua ib lub Ntiaj Teb uas muaj Yeeb Yaj. Trigrams Earlier Heaven—Xub Thawj Paj Quag Ntuj
The sequence of the trigrams in 先天八卦 (Xiantian Bagua), also known as 伏羲八卦 (Fuxi Bagua) or Earlier Heaven Bagua. Heaven was in the higher part, and Earth was in the lower part. The trigram 乾 (Qián) was considered Heaven at the top, and the trigram 坤 (Kun) was considered Earth at the bottom. The trigram 離 (Li) was considered Fire, located on the left. The opposite of the trigram 坎 (Kan) was considered Water. The trigram of 震 (Zhen) was considered Thunder. 巽 (Xun) was considered Wind, which formed another pair while being one opposite the other. The trigram 艮 (Gen) was considered Mountain. 兌 (Dui) was considered a Lake, which formed the last pair opposite the other in balance and harmony. The adjustment of the trigrams was symmetrical by creating exact contrary pairs. They symbolized the opposite forces of Yin and Yang. They represented an ideal state when everything was balanced (Bagua, 2022).
